Hehe. I dunno what thing done cuz I using my phone to blog therefore I see no difference. But I think is the media player I asked to help. I just posted 'Can't be tamed' lyrics as many people posted the lyrics wrongly on youtube, yahoo or what so ever. I memorised the lyrics and I am so happy:) if you got lyrics about Miley's song can ask me. I only remember most of them, not all, so if I dunno please forgive me. Go watch can't be tamed in london and you will be able to see Miley dancing sexyly on stage. So cool. My niece said is was gross. I dunno why she did this but I don't think it is wrong cuz she wanted to do this and she chose to do this. I know she is now happily with his boyfriend, whom I dunno how to spell his name. Today Annie showed me an advertisement about the last song in the teenage magazine. Hihi all:) I now then realised that phone can blog. Yeah!! So happy. I think I gonna be active in blog again. But using wi fi is quite laggy. Ee... My wi fi keep disconnected. But never mind. An issue that is of concern to me is Global Warming. Global warming refers to an average increase in the Earth's temperature, which in turn causes changes in climate. Firstly to have life on Earth, the temperature needs to stay within a certain range. The atmosphere is like a blanket around the earth. It keeps some of the sun’s heat in and allows some to go back into space. The atmosphere is made of gases. Some are greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, methane and hydrofluorocarbons. As sunlight passes through the atmosphere, light-colored surfaces, such as clouds or ice caps, radiate some heat back into space. But most warms the planet’s surface. The Earth then radiates some heat back into the atmosphere. But as human activity such as burning of fossil fuels increase the amount of carbon dioxide we emit into the atmosphere, more and more heat gets trapped in the atmosphere, causing the Earth’s temperature to rise higher and higher as more heat gets trapped in the atmosphere.
As the Earth’s temperature rises, many climate changes due to the change in the Earth’s temperature. One example is the change of climate in the Antarctic. As the Earth’s temperature rises, it gets hotter and hotter in the Antarctic. Due to the increase in temperature as a result of Global Warming, the ice in Antarctic is melting much faster than it should be, melting the ice sheets, and causing the decline of the sea ice in Antarctic. As the sea ice disappears, the penguins are depleted of the ice holes and seal holes that they depend on for food when the feeding grounds are too far away, which they make use of to fish. Without these ice holes, the penguins are unable to get food when their feeding ground is too far away. As the temperature rises in the Antarctic rises due to Global warming, the heat stress will prove too much for them to withstand as it gets hotter and hotter for them to live in. As Global warming causes the temperature to rise in the Antarctic, there are lesser and lesser places for the penguins to breed as more and more sea ice disappear.
The warming air and water as a result of Global Warming is drastically changing the environment to which they have adapted, making it even harder for them to survive and the population of the penguins to decline drastically. Global Warming has not only affected the penguins, but in fact the whole eco-system of the Antarctic.
In conclusion, I have thus learnt the importance to prevent Global Warming and save our Earth. For me, I have changed to use more of public transport to travel than to cars to reduce the usage of fuels, and also say no to plastic bags and use a reusable bag instead to reduce the amount of plastic bags used and burnt, which in turn produces a lot of carbon dioxide. And last but not least, reduce the amount of waste by practicing the 3Rs, recycle, reduce, and reuse, so that there will be less burning of waste, and less carbon dioxide produced which contribute to Global Warming. Everyone makes a difference, so we should all do our part to save the Earth!
